Set in Ireland and based on some of the exploits of Grace O’Malley, the original Pirate Queen, our sparkling new musical is a rollicking blending of script and music.
With a feisty female in the lead role, this pirate musical will rock the audience, as she leads her motley crew on a swashbuckling adventure. A tongue-in-cheek glimpse of piracy on and off the high seas, with Pirates galore, whimsical leprechauns, plots and sub-plots and Queen Elizabeth 1 as a wily, worthy adversary.

We found The Pirate Queen a great first musical to tackle, as it had lots of fun roles, lots of parts that boys wanted to do, simple costumes and staging and audiences wanted to see it. Everybody loves a pirate show – arrrhhh!! We also got great support from Maverick.
