Owen Gray pianist – vocalist – entertainer Now based in South East Queensland (Australia), Owen has spent the past 15 years playing professionally throughout Australia and New Zealand. Previous to this, while living near Townsville, he was awarded the title of “1984 Nth Queensland Entertainer of the Year”. This award prompted him to move to Brisbane where he had further private instrument tuition from acclaimed pianists and vocal tuition from Mr. Jack White, who has taught the likes of John Farnham, Olivia Newton-John and John St Peters to name just a few. Owen has been given the opportunity to perform with and support top national and overseas artists such as – RENEE GEYER, THE BLACK SORROWS, CHARLEY PRIDE, BULLAMAKANKA, JOHN WILLIAMSON, PETER PAUL & MARY, KATE CEBERANO Playing in Brisbane’s top venues as a solo artist (Piano Bar) and feature performer (Showcase Artist with full band) has helped to increase Owen’s profile.
