I have always been fascinated by the power of words. I fell in love with theatre after my first time on stage, aged five. With the magic of the English language as my muse, I have worked as an actor, a teacher of communication, language, and literacy and as an MC and speech writer.
My plays are my rendering of this oft heart-breaking, difficult, and beautiful world into whimsical and manageable stories. These plays are mostly real incidents or an extrapolation of a moment in time. I have also written many cabarets in collaboration with two talented friends. After years in Brisbane and Sydney I now live on the Sunshine Coast. I feel very lucky to be surrounded by supportive family and friends. I find my theatre families always bring great joy into my life.
