The purchase of a single script infers no Copying or Performance rights. (Scripts and music can’t be copied for readings, auditions or rehearsals without purchasing the Copying Fee.) The fee gives you the right to copy the script, musical scores and CD’s that you have purchased as many times as you need for these occasions.

To stage a performance, you will require a License from Maverick Musicals, and agree to the License conditions before you can perform your show.  Copying Fees (for rehearsal materials) and a Performance License must be obtained before your production can take place.

Our streamlined system means that a Performance License Application is activated when you order the Basic or Delux Package, or order the Copying Fee from the selection of options.

It was an extremely successful production and very much enjoyed by cast, crew and audience. We also had the opportunity of involving a number of our feeder primary school students in the production – some as the younger Mowglis, and this proved to be very successful

Well, we pulled it off to two sold out audiences and great TV coverage….Jungle Book was a huge success. I have had many compliments about the show. I included lyrical dancing, tap dancing to make it more to our school’s philosophy of the Arts and it was a super success. The audience loved the audience participation. I had monkeys dancing in the aisles, wolves hunting in the audience, it was a blast and would do this again. With this being Birch Grove Elementary School for the Arts first attempt at a musical, the audience could not believe that the cast was an elementary school but rather a high school production…we will certainly be using another one of Michael’s plays next season.

This tropical treat casts a spell. With his adaptation of Rudyard Kipling’s story, director, composer and lyricist Mike Carter has come up with another winner. This script is a real treat for children and parents alike; Carter has the ability to write hummable, foot tapping tunes, some of which are reminiscent of the golden days of variety.

  4. Maverick Musicals

It was a great show, well received, and attended by 4,300 people. Our cast size was 78 with all roles being played by children ages 7-15 years old. (Lots of) fun — thanks again for all of your help!
