At the moment I’m writing full-time and working part-time as a copywriter for digital media and advertising agencies. Previously I have worked as a comedian, engineer, print journalist and started my own publishing firm in Scotland. This company is still flourishing. It produces 40,000 copies of a free monthly arts and entertainment magazine, and can be found online at: www.theskinny.co.uk. In the past year I have won the Noosa 2009 One Act Play competition, one of my full-length scripts was shortlisted for the National Play Festival 2009 and I’ve had a ten minute play performed as part of the Shepparton Arts festival. I’ve also completed a Masters in Creative Writing at RMIT and am just about to complete a novel. Previously, several of my short stories have appeared in publications including Voiceworks and student undergraduate and post-graduate magazines.
