Mark trained as an actor at Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. Until moving to Australia in 2008, Mark considered himself an occasional writer. This is a polite way of saying he is morbidly lazy. “Nothing” represents the first work he has finished since a recipe for avocado dip in 1987. However, winning the National One Act Play competition in 2011 with this play has transformed him and now has two completed full length plays and a variety of other nonsense to his credit. Mark still acts. Some folks just can’t take a hint. He lives in Sydney with his partner, Victoria, and two small people who claim to know them and eat all the food.
